Galyna Dyakiv is a managing-partner with MVDG Law and brings more than ten years of experience to the practice. Her practice extends to Immigration Law.

 

In Ukraine, she held a series of progressively responsible in-house corporate attorney positions, ultimately serving as lead in-house counsel for one of the largest oil and gas companies in Ukraine. Galyna successfully represented the company in Ukraine in high-profile court cases involving extensive public and media attention. In addition to litigation, her experience covers a wide range of tax and corporate business matters. She regularly performed complex transactional work, negotiated and drafted contracts and developed tax efficient business models. In 2015, she was honored as “the Best In-House Tax Lawyer of Ukraine” by Law Practice Magazine.

In the U.S., Galyna expanded the focus of her practice to immigration law.  She provides general legal counseling to clients regarding permanent residence and citizenship applications, issues of admissibility, waivers and motions to reconsider. Galyna also advises on eligibility requirements to secure employment authorization for foreign professionals to work in the United States — including non-immigrant work visa petitions, permanent employment certification applications and immigrant visa petitions.
